Today’s students, faculty, and employees use their mobile devices as important productivity tools in their everyday lives. From looking up homework assignments to replying to emails from important university donors, there are a number of ways mobile plays a hugely important role in universities.

Universities have tens of thousands of unmanaged mobile devices, visitors from around the world, and likely a number of guest Wi-Fi networks, accessible by anyone. This means, however, that it’s more important than ever that higher education institutions protect mobile devices on their networks.

		Nick Lewis Program Manager, Internet2 Nick Lewis (CISSP) is a Program Manager for Security and Identity at Internet2, where he manages the NET+ security and identity services portfolio, while also contributing to the development of new NET+ offerings in cloud security. Nick has also held positions in information security at the University of Michigan and most recently was Director of IT Security and Compliance and Information Security Officer at Saint Louis University.
		Aaron Cockerill VP of Products, Lookout Aaron joined Lookout with nearly 20 years of software product management experience. As the VP of Products, Aaron is responsible for the development of products that protect individuals and organizations alike from mobile attacks. Most recently, he served as VP of Mobile Technologies at Citrix, where he and his team were responsible for the development of Citrix’s mobile apps and container technology, while driving the acquisition of Zenprise.
