Lookout Man-in-the-middle webinar

Many employees now freely connect to 3rd party Wi-Fi networks on their smartphones and tablets to enable their day-to-day work. As this behavior becomes routine, some may not think twice about installing proxies to gain Wi-Fi access, unaware that they are potentially enabling attackers to decrypt traffic streams going to and from their devices.

This type of attack, commonly know as man-in-the-middle (MitM), makes data in transit on mobile devices an unmitigated security risk for many organizations. Even though your company may encrypt sensitive corporate data on mobile devices, attackers can intercept and decrypt this data via man-in-the-middle attacks using equipment that costs less than $100.

Watch this webinar to learn:

  • How mobile man-in-the middle attacks work — including a MitM attack demonstration
  • How to distinguish “fact from fiction” in discussions of mobile MitM attacks
  • What you need to know about mobile root certificates on iOS and Android
  • Which types of MitM attacks should concern you — what's the real risk of your employees connecting to coffee shop and hotel Wi-Fi?
  • How you can get visibility into — and protection against — this emerging mobile network security risk
